As promised, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, the rugged version of the popular Galaxy S7, is now on sale at AT&T for $794 without a contract.
AT&T is also selling the phone for $26.50 for 30 months via the AT&T Next payment plan or at $33.13 a month for 24 months on the AT&T Next Every Year plan. The S7 Active has a 5.1-inch 2560×1440 resolution display that is shatter-resistant. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It packs a 12 megapixel rear camera, a 5MP front facing camera, and a 4000mAh. Most importantly, the case on the Galaxy S7 Active is supposed to be more rugged than the normal S7, and is able to work even after sitting in 5 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. The phone comes in “sandy gold,” “titanium gray” and “green camo” colors.
